In the first instance we intended to thank individually all those who have given us so much support following Alexandra's death. It has however become apparent over the last year that there is not one single person who remains untouched on hearing Alexandra's story, and this has led to so many people helping us in all sorts of ways. Alexandra touched the hearts of most people when she was alive and it is pleasing to know that it continues to do so following her death.

The fact that she was so gifted and died at such a young age by a disease that can start out as a mole and end up killing you in just over two years seems incomprehensible to most people. So we would like to thank everyone and to let you all know that your ongoing support has given us the strength to carry on and given us the will to broadcast to other people that this form of skin cancer really does kill
